How Mentoring The Elite collects, uses and protects personal information.
Last updated October 2026. The full Privacy Policy sits in the MTE Policies document, linked below.
The short version
MTE collects what it needs to run programs safely and nothing beyond that. This website sends enquiries to MTE and nowhere else, payments are handled by Stripe so card numbers never touch MTE’s systems or this site, and there is no advertising or tracking on any page.
What this website collects
Enquiry and booking forms. The details you type — the athlete’s name and age, your name, contact details, the sport they play, and anything you add in the message box — are sent to MTE so a coach can reply. Nothing on these forms is required beyond what is marked.
Payments. Memberships and testing sessions are paid through Hapana, the membership system MTE runs on, which processes cards via Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s own form and are never seen, handled or stored by this website or by MTE. What MTE receives is the record of the payment and your membership, not the card.
What is not collected. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. Nothing follows you to another website, and no profile is built from the pages you visit.
What MTE collects more broadly
Away from the website, MTE holds the information it needs to coach a young athlete safely — contact details, and health information where there are special needs a session has to account for. It is used only for reasons directly related to running the programs.
Personal information may be shared with third-party contractors and service providers who need it to do their job, and where the law requires it. MTE may also use photographs and video taken during sessions for marketing, which is covered by the Child Safe Policy and requires consent from the athlete and their parent or guardian.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to the personal information MTE holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or make a complaint about how it has been handled. Call +61 474 041 145 or use the contact form.
The full policy
This page is a plain-English summary. The Privacy Policy itself is section 5 of the MTE Policies document, and that document is what governs — alongside the Child Safe, Complaints Handling, Drug and Alcohol, Medical Emergency Response and Social Media policies.
